DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING APPLICATION TO THE COUNSELOR’S OFFICE IS THE LAST FRIDAY OF APRIL IN EACH YEAR.
STOMP is a non-profit, local organization, started in the Spring of 2015, whose primary focus is to educate the communities in Jack County to create a greater awareness of the dangers of alcohol and any other drug that can lead to the use of methamphetamine. The Directors of STOMP hope that by putting educational materials into the hands of students from elementary age through high school age and by the presence of our organization within the community, we can help minimize the drug problem in our county. We work along with the law enforcement to let it be known, we don’t want drugs in Jack County.
STOMP will be awarding a $500 scholarship to a graduating senior from each campus at Bryson, Jacksboro, and Perrin-Whitt. Upon confirmation of enrollment as a full-time student for the first semester, $250 will be sent directly to the registration office of the college of your choice. The remaining $250 will be sent for the 2nd semester, upon confirmation of enrollment as a full-time student for that semester. To apply for this scholarship, please download the form below and submit your information for review.
